Paper accepted!
I just got word that our paper "Of Mice and Men: Design of a Comparative Anatomy Information System" was accepted to AMIA 2005. Due date for revisions is July 15; since I'm leaving for the East Coast on the 7th, I just got even busier in what I need to get done before I leave. Still, in the past I've been too busy with work I love, and too busy with work I hate, and I know which one I prefer! I am not complaining about this addition to my to-do list.

Congratulations! It is always exciting to see our work in print. :)
yes; I am not yet so jaded that it's just another publication. I hope I never get there, but I see people with hundreds of papers, and have to wonder, does the novelty wear off?
I'm guessing the novelty wears off a tiny bit especially when most of the hundreds are no longer first author papers.
I dropped out of research after finishing my post-doc and it still pleases me to see the papers listed on my CV. :D
